Casandra Waddell runs a private consignment business from her townhouse near the Cloverdale fair grounds in Surrey BC. She introduced herself to me as a ‘power consignment seller’; saying “people give me merchandise to sell, I take 40% for extraordinary marketing efforts that get the customer top/fair dollar for their items without the hassle of doing anything.”

In reality, if you give her a product of real intrinsic value, she will likely comes up with a story about how she had to dispose of it and gives you a made up figure and a made up vendor, she then relists the item under the either the new fake owner or a different ID and sells it for top dollar, keeping the real intrinsic value for herself.

After a bad dealing with her on an expensive laptop I gave her for consignment, I busted her when she happened to approach an acquaintance of mine (unknowing to Casandra that I knew this person) to act as a shill buyer on another transaction, explaining that “it’s gray, but legal”, she told friend she was using ‘black market’ credit card numbers and profiles and visa gift cards to establish ebay IDs for fake shill buyer vendors but that ebay had too many KYC verification restrictions on transferring money from paypal once the account exceeded a fairly low threshold, and that by using a real person she could do more volume.

The entire operation is a carefully orchestrated scam.
