This may be the worse company I have ever delat with. I took a loan out with them back in April of 2007. Sure the day I spoke to the woman who hanldes the paperwork online was as nice as could be, telling me not to pay attention to the "numbers" menaing the payments and interest rates. She pushed me into thinking everything had to be done right away basically not giving me the time to read all the fine print. She did say however that I had 24 hours to read over anything after the money was deposited and if I decided that I did not want the loan I could call back and they would deduct the $2500 from my checking account.

Well that Monday night I was rushed to the hospital and was admitted for 5 days. After getting out I called Cash Call explaining my situation andthat I couldnt call to stop the loan - I was willing to show them paperwork from the hospital proving that I was admitted. There answer was - "Sorry there is nothing we can do for ya" and hung up the phone. They really do take advantage of people who are in need and have no guilt what-so-ever.

I actaully closed my checking account so they couldnt take the payments out. I had to beg and plead with them to refinance the loan to get the payments down to $126 per month. On top of it all, they never sent me any type of invoice letting me know when the payments were due but yet they got right on the phone letting me know the payments were late.

I wish there was a law that wouldnt allow company's like this charge the interest rates they do. Maybe we should all get together and each file a lawsuit agianst them!

Did you want the loan or not?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 06, 2008

Even though you could not cancel the loan due to your situation, what kept you from just sending in the $2500 back to them when you got home. You could have done it as the first months payment. Yes, you would have had to pay back the interest for the time you had the loan. But at most that would have been around $200 for the few days you had it. But, when you had to "beg and plead" to get your payments down to $126, it sounds like you decided to keep the loan.

So you can't really have it both ways. That is to complain about their high interest rates and not wanting the loan. But then instead of returning the money having to beg with them to lower your monthly payment because you decided to keep the loan.

Kind of irresponsible on your part

AUTHOR: Steven - (U.S.A.)

What do you mean you signed a contract without reviewing the loan amount or interest rate?? No wonder why you are in so much trouble that you had to resort to a high interest rate cash loan.

Cash call and other companies are not around to be nice to people that cannot pay their loans on time. The only folks that use them are ones that either cannot or will not accept responsibility for their debts or financial problems.

I am sure they are used to excuses (both truthful and lies) for being late on payments or whatever. Like Robert said, since you were in the hospital you had the option of returning the loan but didn't. Where did the money go???

Why didn't you

simply pay the money back?

You claim you didn't want the loan, so OK, the 2500 was put into your account. You are allowed to pay the loan off early! All you had to do was send them a payment of the $2500 - that would have almost paid it off. Then you would simply add the accrued interest for one month to the $2500 and that would have been it.
