Cash for Stuffing ripoff mistreated and ripped off sent correspondences, certified, haven't received my money back yet! Chicago Illinois
*Consumer Suggestion: Don't waste your time...
i sent a check in the amount of $45.00 to cash for stuffing. the check cleared my checking account on july 9, 2002. i sent them a letter almost 30 days later requesting either the material or my money back. no response. i sent another letter with an attachment of the first letter requesting for the amount of $45.00 only. i sent this letter certified thru the postal services which i have received a card back with indicating the letter was received and signed for. all i want is my money back and for this company along with its owners to be penalized for ripping people off of their hard earn money!
thank you

Susan,
Unfortunately you are wasting your time in writing to the cheats. You can do something far more painful to the cons than get your $45 back. Report them to the US Postal Inspection Service at http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/.
The postal service will place a cover on the box. Also, here's something you can try. Take your cancelled check to your bank and ask them to tell you the name and phone number of the bank that cashed or deposited the check. Then go to your local police department and ask for their assistance in shutting down this work at home stuffing-for-dollars scam.
Good Luck
