Celibre burned and scarred the top of my hands using an inferior laser machine and then would not refund me without a gag clause.  They would not service me to fix the damage. Also, the Dr. saw me via video - not even on the premises!

They have violated the Consumer Protection Act per my attorney.

I saw another dermatologist 2 months later as the dark large marks were not disappearing.  The Dr. confirmed I was scarred and that they are aware Celibre does not have enough equipment so used the wrong equipment on me.

The 3rd Dermatologist I saw is having to do many treatments and lightening cremes to help remedy the situation at considerable expense to me.  I cannot recommend Celibre.  Watch out!

Please see a professional firm like (((REDACTED))) Great service and knowledgeable with the latest Cynosure lasers - the best!

Patient Extortion

AUTHOR: Celibre medical - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 27, 2016

The patient came into our office specifically requesting the q-switched laser, which is an industry standard for sun damage removal.  We are not clear as to why the patient now feels that this is the "wrong laser" but our practice and thousands of others across the nation use it every day to remove sun spots.

The patient also implored us to remove the spots on her hand in ONE treatment and stated she did not want to have to return for a second.  As such, we treated the spots in a way that we would remove them in one visit.  The spots were removed and the patient was left with pinkness in the hands, which is very normal even for extended periods of time (weeks or months).

When the patient voiced concern with the result of the treatment, we asked her to come into the office for a chekcup to be evaluated.  She refused, instead demanding a refund.  We offered the refund, but as is standard in our industry, any time a full (unwarranted) refund is provided, we also ask for a liability release and confidentiality.  The patient would not agree to this so we have not provided the refund.

While we do sympathize with the patient that it was a long healing process, we set this expectation with her before the treatment.  The laser is industry standard for the type of treatment provided and so are the results.  There was no burning and is no permanent scarring, just pinkness that is taking an extended period to heal.

The patient decided it was better to try and threaten us with online reviews than take the full refund.  We repsect her decision but have to disagree with her assessment.
