on the 25 03 2010 I received a fax from this company claiming they have a package that includes the following:

orlando, florida 5 days/4 nights
includes a choice of 1 week car rental or 2 theme park tickets!

Daytona beach- 3 days / 2 nights
ft lauderdale - 3 days/2 nights
bahamas all inclusive cruise- 3 days / 2 nights

All for the price of 299$ per person

I call to inquiry out of curiosity. I was greeted by a man who quickly transferred my call to a lovely lady at first but who turn out to be not so lovely after she hung up on me.

She started the conversation babbling about how long they've been in business yadi yadi yada...
I ask her for the business location and the business name so I could verify their business registration information with the state business registry office.
Lo & behold, she hung up.

Caveat, If you still want to deal with this company after this report, do it at your own risks & perils.

RECEIVING A FAX DOES NOT MAKE THE COMPANY FRAUDULENT

AUTHOR: Jay - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, May 24, 2012

This response from  this client shows nothing more than resentment for receiving a fax that they did not want. In what way shape or form did that make our package or our company completely fraudulent?

This person is angry for getting an unwanted fax. NOTHING to do with our company policies or products.  Please understand that just because this fax may have been from us, this does not mean that every fax you get advertisinig travel was from this company. There are hundreds. All you have to do is follow the directions to remove your number. It is on the bottom of the document as well as contact information to call in as well

Total Fraud

AUTHOR: Peter - (Canada)

Can't even delete my fax number. Constantly busy. Look up fax removal number and find it is for a safety company in Ontario. Feel sorry for them.

So much for being a reputable company. Also the SPAM fax does not adhere to Unsolicited faxing laws by not identifying the originating number on the fax header. Comes up as "FAX" which is ILLEGAL.  History says no identification means it is not legit.

This Claim is pointless and far from any truth.

Good Day, I am the General manager of Central State Travel. This report is attempting to discredit a company without reason and has no reason  to even be posted. This person was never "ripped-off" and was never told anything incorrect. It is their opinion that they did not like the voice of the agent that was speaking with them, who incidently did nothing wrong but give the information, and at the same time gave credibility information as they are supposed to if asked.  On More than one occaision we get people who call here and are rude and obnoxious and only wanting to get our company information (which if they will notice is listed and clear on the document they received) the agent might have been precautious but NEVER would hang up. It is possible that there was a bad connection or the line disconnected, which occurs occausionally with the new VOIP phone systems. (I am sure you can verify that with any VOIP carrier).

Our company is licensed, bonded, and insured as well as IATAN Accredited and we have been around for many years. The offer the person received was one of our overbuy packages and is quite real when we have them available. All of our transactions are verified and secured through third party verifications and stored for 3 years. I can assure you that our company is of the highest standards and is in excellent standing. This complaint is truly disappointing to find on this site and I am glad that I do check frequently  to see false complaints as well as what others are doing.

All of our documents contain our name and phone number and information about our company. There are hundreds of other companies out there that send advertising for similar products that are advertising or marketing firms, with us, this is not the case, we are a full service agency dedicated to traveling hundreds of travelers each month on fantastic vacations.

Feel free to contact us and our agents will be happy to go over our accreditation and information as needed and resolve any issue if it is truly with OUR company and not with one of the others out there.

Thank You,

Jay Hammond
