yesterday i got a call from a "sean" on my personal cell phone. he said he was from centurion financial benefits and that i was pre-approved for a mastercard with a credit limit of $2000 with 0% for 3 years, but I had to pay $249 first. then i'd recieve my card in less than 16 days.

it sounded a fishy because he said i applied for it. which i didn't. so i searched for centurion financial on google while he gave me all the bull and saw that it was a scam. i asked him his name and he'd only tell me sean. then he put me on the phone to someone else, and she's only tell me her name was nicole.

they knew all my information which scares me now. and i told them i was busy so they gave me this number 1-866-784-0560. it's a message machine that puts you on hold. i called 1-888-247-9280 which was what came up on my call id. it's somebody's voicemail box.

when i was talking to the lady. i hung up right away. and she kept calling me. she called me again today. they wont stop bugging me.

beware with these people!!!!!

I too have been recieving calls from this number at least 15 times a day for the last 1 week. I havent actually spoken to anyone. Everytime I call back it goes straight to a mail box. I have filed a complaint with the FCC and told them to look into this web site, that Im not the only one going through this.

Mastercard Scam

I keep getting this call from this phone number 888-247-9280, they will hang up on you and when you call it back they have some kind of recording. This has been going on for a couple of weeks, but today someone did talk when they called. They tried to get my personel information including my bank account information. They said I was pre-approved for a credit line of $2000. It just so happens that I typed their phone number into Google and this other lady already had experienced this. I told the lady on the phone that I knew it was a scam and she tried to argue with me and still want my information! What credit card company is going to be so persistant that they will argue with you after you tell them your not interested. Thank you Johanna from California for reporting this because you probably saved me from being scamed.

Centurion Financial Benefits ripoff

I had received a phone call from a 1-888-247-9280 on my cell phone, but they didnt leave a message. Tried to call it back and it was someones voicemail box that was full. That day they had called about 10 times, finally i had answered at 830pm and a gentleman asked to speak to me, at that time I replyed that this is Thomas and he hung up on me. He never said who he was with or anything of that nature. Next day 15 missed calls from the same number, one of which I did answer and was hung up on again. My wife did some research on the number and saw this web page on google and a complaint of the same thing. Later that night I finally got a phone call from them again, 7pm, it was Cammil from Centurion Financial Benefits and my application was approved. I told I never filled out an application and she told me that I did some time ago. Again I told her I never did. Also said that I wasnt interested and to stop calling me 15 times a day. She said it was her only time calling me, I told her that it maybe but someone from there has been calling me every hour if not twice an hour, she then HUNG UP on me.

They called me I told them not now and he got verbally abusive which I have recorded and filed a POLICE REPORT I suggest you put a trap on your line call your phone company and have the nusiance dept set it up. But they only will with a police report of harasing phone calls. Then when they call you log time and number and report them to the nusiance line daily if they call and you can have them bring a hault to your problems I have no idea if there is legal recourse aginst them but make sure to get them, they go under several companies if you research them Centurion Financial Services, Centurion Benefits, Protel and CBI in Canada they are linked to banks in Canada and they have adresses in FlA and NY the Ontario Police are investigating fraud from thier side of the border and the dealings with the FLA side of it I believe. beware of Centurian Protel ETC... they are scams
