I am elderly and on fixed income but this real estate company defrauded me of over $1000 using an "in-house" escrow service my agent promoted. When I caught them and asked them to correct the errors they just gave me the run-around. Like many millionaires they get their money by defauding lots of "little people" like me. I never expected an escrow service to commit Breach of Trust since integrity is the core of their business but Capitalism has no limits to greed.

I am now forced to seek mediation and/or complain to the appropriate State regulatory agency. I doubt that I will ever see my money they stole but at least I am going to let others know and advise them to seek another agency to handle their real estate transaction that has at least some integrity. If I cost them at least one customer then they will have lost more than they stole from me! He uses wholly owned escrow and funding companies he created to control the entire transaction where fees and charges are two to three times more than industry standard but in my case also shifted over $1000 in costs from the buyers side to my side of the transaction in violation of the contract terms and refused to correct the fraud even after it was identified. Some of the clever tricks used during escrow were to create a "rush" by letting the sales contract expire and never providing and estimated settlement accounting prior to close.

NEVER use anyone affiliated with or recommended by the agent or broker because they will always be loyal to the agent/broker and you will likely be defrauded. Most real estate fraud depends on this so don't do it!
