We submitted our application Dec 3, 2008 (sadly by a trusted friend). They didn't call for over a week. Requested documents which I provided.

Everytime I called "they" (it was always someone new) were confused about how to do things, who's supposed to do what, etc. Said company keeps changing how things are to be done (I have that in writing).

They charged $2,500 in advance because there would be an attorney handling my negotiations with our lenders. No attorney and it is therefore illegal for them to take the fee in advance.
