BEWARE - Cesar Mendez Salgado, AKA Cesar Mendez AKA Cesar Salgado is a dishonest and pretend contractor.

Cesar and his crew start jobs at multiple locations and leave the job incomplete after taking your money. Cesar comes across as mellow and charming at the outset and gives a low bid to get the job.  He and his crew then demolish everything and leave your house in dust and rubble.  Then they threaten and refuse to start the project unless the homeowner pays a substantial amount in advance for work that is not done.

DO NOT TRUST CESAR MENDEZ / CESAR SALGADO.

He took our money with impunity, damaged our property and did not know what he was doing.  No attention to detail or knowledge of the basics of construction, tile or plumbing. He hid the damage and promised that he will fix everything after we discovered the damage, but he took our money and never came back. 

He came up with all kinds of excuses from being in a parent teacher conference (which I doubt he has ever gone to) to being hospitalized indefinitely with COVID, which was a blatant lie that we discovered later. This is besides giving him many chances out of being caring and considerate people and believing his lies.

He also provided a false address. The district attorney office has reviewed for criminal prosecution and the California Contractors State License Board has an open file investigating him at this time.
