I had my old 8 mm home movies converted to DVD's. When I received the DVD's, the bright areas were all white and the darker areas were so dark you couldn't see what they were. I paid a lot of money to have them converted and I disagree with them that they did the job they advertised. I lost my head and believed their ad that I found on Google, should have tried just a little first.

After reading the company's responce to my complaint I realize I was wrong as the consumer. If I wanted extra work done above what I orginally asked for I should have to pay for it. The company did everything they said they would for the price they quoted.

Hi my name is Mark Chamberlain I am the owner of the company Bill is complaining about. Bill fails to mention that his complaint about some area's being to light or dark were because of the way Bill's family had originally shot there movies. The light & dark areas were caused by their camera being incorrectly set 40 years ago when it was originally shot. Jim did not want us to remove any of the footage before he saw it. Therefore we had no options because the footage Bill didn't like had no images on it so there was nothing for us to restore. Yet Bill didn't give us permission to remove it before he saw it. If clients want us to go back and re-edit their movies after the initial restoration we charge them. Bill didn't want to pay to have us remove the footage after he saw it and then decided he wanted it removed.
We are a honest company who does a great job. I am sorry that Bill wasn't happy because we wouldn't remove the footage after he reviewed it but it was his decision to want to see all the footage first.
To be a nice person I will offer to remove the footage Bill doesn't like at a discount if he still wants me to. I have been in business for over 20 years I have a 99% satisfaction rate with my customers.
