Due Diligence in Buying SPS or any other Online Course

AUTHOR: Andres - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 21, 2018

I bought SPS (supposed discount from $5k to $3k). I have followed their online instructions and have spoken to a coach assigned to me. Most online courses have a sales hype; maybe all do. SPS was very aggressive in calling me and selling this course. I did not compare to any other company. What I have found is there is comparable information, some of it free. My mistake.

I have not finished the course as I am still writing. The real test is the information I get on marketing and if the SPS FB community can actually help. If that's the case then maybe it will be worth the expense. I believe my book content is valuable. I've taught this information for years and it has a very real experience that comes from a unique perspective that will help many people.

This is not to denegrate Chandler Bolt or what he is selling just that my feeling is that it is very overpriced and that they focus on selling rather than truly giving value in the course. In fact, I had a coaching call scheduled today and they did not call. Got the email warning for the call. No call.

Disappointing at this point. Could change my view. I doubt it. Still, I'll write a good book. Maybe it will never sell much ...hopefully there is someone it will help that gets it free in promotion.

Last note and reminder: Check into the course. Don't get sucked into the sale with emotion about writing your book and/or making money from writing a book. There are other options than SPS. Check whats available thoroughly. I believe you can write a book and self publish successfully for far less than $3k.
