ON 2/12/06 Ordered 12 cartons Monte Carlo. They kept telling me a different date they were sent. Never got them. They say refund or replace. They did neither.
A month ago they said customs has them. Well I never heard from customs or the company again and the package did not get here with duty tax to pay from customs. I do not know what other names this place goes by but PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. THEY ARE FRAUDS.
I am out of $140.00 and I cannot do anything.

I paid by Visa and got a letter today that Visa cannot do anything. An expensive way to learn a lesson!

You likely, have lost the money and will receive no product. The website you visited is owned by a party in the Russian Federation.
It is extremely difficult to buy cigarettes "cheap" as this website is selling them (i.e. six cartons of Winston for $85.00), while you live in the U.S. The majority of what you pay in cigarette prices in the U.S. is local and state taxes. This is why cigarettes are much cheaper in Canada.
The links provided by the website lead to other webpages. The ones I reviewed indicated in the FAQ that once the cigarettes were "shipped" they became your property and you are the "importer".
Be very careful of this. The Jenkins Act, a recent law makes the "importer" responsible for reporting the sale of cigarettes entering a state via interstate commerce and there are fines for non compliance.
Additionally according to U.S. Customs cigarettes imported into the U.S. must be in compliance with all applicable laws (i.e. taxes paid). From their website:
"Any contraband cigarettes involved
in any violation of the provisions
of 18 U.S.C. chapter 114 shall be
subject to seizure and forfeiture."
If they were taken by customs, they were destroyed. There is no provision that they must notify you and offer you the opportunity to pay the taxes.
