As Cherrystone's manager, I'm pleased to see this scam reported in Rip-off because I do not want to see any more people defrauded. However, I want to clarify that this is an internet scam being run by people who have stolen Cherrystone's identity and we are cooperating with investigating autorities.

The scam involves people making up front payments for loans that are then never funded. Cherrystone does not make loans over the internet, and under no circumstances should anyone send money to an individual claiming to be a Cherrystone representative.
