We hired Choice Cleaning to clean out a rental home that a prior tenant trashed. Choice Cleaning requires payment prior to starting their services. Now I understand why. They want their payment before they do a poor job and then force you to fight them. They cleaned the home and when my manager went into the unit, the floors still looked wet and the home smelled. Jenny, the owner blamed it on humidity and the refrigerator. My manager went back to the home to take a better inventory of issues at the home prior to renting it and found dry and powdery animal feces. I contacted Jenny again and she said she could take a look at it the next day since she was out of town. I asked her to set up a meeting with my manager so they could meet at the rental home and discuss it. Jenny did not contact my manager as promised. Jenny also asked me to confirm the address where the animal feces were because she did not recognize the flooring in the photo. Jenny only cleaned one home at our property and we only have one rental home at the property so I find it odd that she was trying to deflect and insinuate that the photos were in a home she did not clean. I followed up with Jenny the day after she said she could look at the issue. She responded that there was "no need for me to contact your manager" and that "this is our final statement". I would have preferred to try to resolve the issue between the parties (as demonstrated by me trying to have Jenny meet my manager), but Jenny decided that was not necessary. The bill was $200 for cleaning and $60 for trash removal. They adequately removed the trash so I have no issue with the $60 charge.

Professionals in the cleaning industry should avoid doing business with people like James Bies Rentals. In more than 20 years, I have never heard of a cleaning company bieng responsible for infested rodent houses. Just like James Bies clearly states, Choice Cleaning Service went to perform the regular cleaning pertaining to a move-out.
However, the place was trashed and in disregard of several city ordenance codes. No electricity for a long period of time made favorable conditions for maggots and other hazzardous organisms in the neglected premises. Also, James Bies clearle states that his Manager went to inspect (within 24 hrs) the place and found NOTHING wrong with the service provided. After James Bies decided to send "another" Manager over 6 days later, it is when this person "realizes" about maggots, rodent feces etc..
No cleaning company would never offer any guarantee of services on a house with no electricity nor on a house which is not in accordance to city building technical codes such as interior connections to the outdoor (rats coming into the house through not sealed openings).
When James Bies got notified through his latest manager about the real cost related eviction left by previous tenants, it's when he decided to try and railroaded us into giving him a discount. Since we believe that no company should absorve the customer's loss, we decline his request and therefore he refused to pay the Invoice 100%. We responded to his Credit Card Claim Department with all the evidences and his request for a refund was rejected.
It is unfortunate that people like James Bies think they can easily scam service companies.
