I have been with Nika Travel for 10 years without a major problem until now. The rule always was they would draw from the oldest points first.

However, they did not and when I went to book a vacation, was told that I would have to pay $65 to carry over points that A) were left out of points that I already paid to bring over previously, and B) should have been used up last year, except they neglected to pull from those points on previous vacations. After sitting for an hour on the phone with the customer service agent who didn't know what he was doing, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to a voice mail and told to leave a message. Wow....just wow....So I called back and immediately asked to speak to a supervisor not to a recording.

Upon speaking to supervisor (April), who immediately defended the way they did this without even listening to the full story, said I would have to pay the $65 if I wanted to book a vacation this fall, and I was lucky because it used to cost $109 to carry over points. Well April, I don't feel lucky, I feel ripped off and I feel like I was given wrong information from the person that booked my previous vacation who said the oldest points would be used first but didn't use them first, I feel like Nika doesn't care about their customers, and I feel like Nika only cares about nickel and diming people not keeping customers happy.
