Chritian At Williamsburg Apartments This Ghetto Apartment Complex Hired Me Off Craigslist. This A-Hole Christian Hasn't Paid Me My Money! Battle Creek Michigan

I applied for a job posted on Craigslist. The job was to paint apartments full time, which is easy. The guy calls one afternoon and out of the blue he needs me there to start painting the very next morning, now that I think about it the last guy must have quit. No Interview, No Background Check, NOTHING. For all this guy knew I could be a rapist or a serial killer and he's giving me keys to apartments that give me access to the building security doors, real safe!

So he gives me the job, and I go to the store a buy supplies. When I get to the apartment, it stinks! The carpet was covered in stains, and the walls wer dirty. I asked him if I should wipe to wall with anything and said that would take too long so just paint over it. As we walk through the apartment this guy just leaves me in the apartment for the entire day. Never checks on me or calls. Finally 5 rolls around and I just leave.

The next couple days were the same. Then they sent me to one of their furnished rooms. It was filled with crapy furniture. They wanted every room a diffrent color. The furtinure was in the way and I couldn't reach the ceiling and of course there wasn't a ladder available. I had to stand on a empty paint bucket and almost rolled my ankle.

Then I accidentlly got a couple drops of paint on their shitty carpet which acually made it look better. When I was almost done for the day. Christian , the slumlord manager, and the owner came into the apartment yelling at each other. They walked around the apartment all ticked off at each other and then the slumlord owner saw the drop of paint on his shitty carpet and flipped out. He started swearing and pointing and he really ripped into me for about 20 minutes he told me I'm a shitty painter, which isn't true. I've painted for uncle for two whole summers. So he sent me home early. I didn't mind because those apartments wreak.


The next day, I showed up and the only nice person in that slum, the cute leasing agent fired me. She told me I had to call Christian about my check. He told me that he was going to take the carpet cleaning out of my check. I said whatever, I didn't care.

He told me I could pick my check on Friday. I show up, no check. The lady says it be here on Monday, nope. Then Friday, nope. Three weeks have gone by and that creepy, metrosexual, slumlord Christian still hasn't paid me and he is still dodging my calls.
