First and formost, any person who trys to sell you a scooter is a "drop shipper". All scooters come straight from the manufacturer. You must be a dealer to order from the factory. It your dealer does not help you, you can file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General/Governor of their state. I purchased my 150cc Longbo Adventure scooter on EBAY from seller "Booguer". He placed my order through Longboamerica.com and my scooter came by freight. Upon receiving my "first" scooter, it was a much smaller unit and had to be returned. The second scooter received had less options then the one I purchased. It was also damaged in three places durring assembly and shipping. Had a cracked fender and busted taillight. The box that it came in had a 3 foot hole across it and you could see where a forklift was jabbed into it. The freight carrier issued a claim number and I filed the claim with Longbo. "These parts will ship right out" stated Christine Moroney at Longbo. Two months later still no parts. A few days after receiving the scooter, I received the black trunk that I ordered with the scooter. My scooter is black/silver and they send me a neon green trunk that was "spray painted" black. You could see the green all over it! I would not even put it on the scooter. Christine stated that this is how their company treats customers. They dont care what it looks like as long as you get it. "I will tell the dealer to issue a refund for the trunk", no refund ever issued. We did not even drive the scooter for almost a month. We stated that we wanted a refund or we will go to court. About 6 weeks ago we took the scooter for a ride. Within 15 miles, smoke poured out of the engine and oil was spraying everywhere. The engine locked up and died. We have filed for "fraud protection" on ebay. The scooter was listed on ebay as having a 60 day warranty. Yet, Longbo america states there is a 1 year warranty on engine. I have received no replies from Longbo America or the seller on ebay. If fraud protection is unhelpful, I will file my complaint with the legal system.

This is fraud, plain and simple! Do not waste your money on china scooters! Unless you want $1000 paperweights! I did talk to several other buyer of this same scooter on ebay. One told me that upon starting hers, "all the lights" blew out at the same time and died. There are tons of negative complaints online. These toys are not made to last. Its all fun untill your pushing it home!
