CIC Credit Monitoring ripoff scam Orange California
*Consumer Suggestion: A way out
How is it possible that so many of us have been ripped off! Why hasn't the BBB stopped this! Can we sue? Do we have any rights at all?
I've taken this all up with my bank but now I have to wait x amount of weeks for them to investigate and once they have come to a dicission, I "might" get my money back... seeing as I only really have 79.00 to my name right now, I'm screwed until then. I feel so helpless in this situation. Someone should have to pay!

A way out

Ok, I like a few others on this posting tried the free credit report deal, then sent the email to close the account before the free trial expired. The company of course charged me and refused to reverse the charges. After talking with some jerk at the "customer service" number and getting the run around, I lost me temper and got hung up on. The solution: I (actually my wife) called experian directly and after a brief run around there...due to their confusion, not intentional, got them to state the charges would be reversed. Stick with experian, they will direct your call back to CIC (consumer info.com), hung up and call back to experian. It looks promising, and maybe experian will fix their crooked little CIC company.
Enjoy!!!
