I received the email to check my credit report for free for 30 days. Then I called to cancel after 28 days, they still charged me for 2 more months. I had to cancel my credit card just to avoid it from happening again.

Solution for some to avoid charge

I happened upon a "pending" charge on my credit card that had not yet been disbursed. I was lucky enough to do a search and find this website. I called my c/c company back and they told me that even if I close my credit card the charge can still go on. So I read them the info on this website and asked to be transferred to the lost or stolen c/c dept. I have now reported this company as fraudulent and my c/c company has now put a freeze on this account and have opened a new one under a different number. They are now in the process of investigating this matter on my behalf. Good luck everyone!!
