My husband signed some paperwork to aquire a credit card processing machine. After receiving my bank statement, I realized that Merchant Services was withdrawing money from our business account that I questioned was really authorized. I visited with my bank operations officer and found withdrawals were by three other banks for service charges. OF WHAT? We have not even used the machine yet.

Anyway long story short. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Missouri in 2003. To this date I believe the complaint is still on going. The company has a different reputation representative in about 2005. I then closed my checking account. My bank contacted credit card processing company, programmed the machine. Another long story short. We cannot get out of the lease with Lease Finance Group. In 2003 they offered a buyout in the amount of $3,745.00. My contract is for $109.00 a month for four years.

I read the report by Kevin in Glenwood, Iowa, where he was only paying $48.61 a month. Wow: what a difference. Now here it is the year 2006. Reading other reports on this web site I am really worried. We have just went through a similar situation with another lease company. But it turned out okay.

Talk about Phone calls!! We have two phones: Lease Finance representatives start calling as early as 7:40 a.m. on August 2nd, 2006 I logged 13 phone calls!! I have been sending them their payment on the 12th of each month, it is due on the 18th. Therefore on the 18th someone starts calling. Sometimes both phones are ringing at the same time. Numerous times, I would answer the phone and no one was there. Most the time, they will not talk to me because my husband signed the papers.

I really have a problem understanding, if a business has so many complaints, why isn't there something being done? Filing a complaint with BBB is good but not all that helpful for all.

Therefore, I will now contact the Attorney General, and Channel 12 investigates in Oregon. See what happens? My husband at this time will not allow me to contact our attorney. He states suffer through the phone calls. But they tie up my business phone with all the phone calls. Yes the contract was signed but we do not deserve the abuse. I make the monthly payments. It is not my fault the mail is slower one month compared to another month. I have no control over the USPS service.
