Citi Financial Mortgage ripoff entered my SS# on someone else's account, calls me for that deliquent account and loses payments sent to them Irving Texas

My mortgage loan was sold from one company to Citi Financial Mortgage. After I was notified about the loan being sold, I started to receive phone messages for me to call the company.

When I called Citi Financial, the number given to me went to the collections department. I later found out why I was being asked to call... somone with the company entered my SS# into somone else's accout who apparently wasn't paying their bill.

This raises so many issues with ruining MY credit, identity theft, and numerous others. No one at the company acted like it even mattered, no apology, or an assurance that it wouldn't happen again to me or any one else. So now I find out that I will have to wait 5 business days for my SS# to end up with my account.

To top all of that off, Citi Financial is saying that they haven't received the first payment from the previous company. I call the previous company, obtain all of he information that obviously shows where the check had been delivered to Citi financial, even who signed for it... and the ignorant person I spoke to with Citi told me; instead of him looking for the check since it was the company he works for that lost it, that I would have to obtain a copy of the cleared check from my bank, fax it to him, then the research department will have to research it, then it can be taken off of my statement and my credit that I owe that money.
