Citicards, Citibank, CITI Ripoffs For All Americans Citibank embezzeled my July payment through their Bill pay internet site and then ruin a perfect credit score with their thefts. It is ongoing Sioux Falls, SD 57117 Sioux Falls South Dakota
*UPDATE Employee: couple things before claiming the payment was stolen
In July CITI embezzeled my payment and waited a month and a half to let me know that it didn't exist. Then they reduce the credit limit and send a letter out that states "Your balance is too high in comparison to your limit. Talk about Fraud, Theft and cover up. Do NOT bail these scumbags out. They steal and get away with it by ruining credit. A flawless score down the tubes.

#1 UPDATE Employee
couple things before claiming the payment was stolen

To start, the #1 reason why online payments don't go through: remember that after you type in the payment amount and date and click submit, the next page shows a summery of the the payment details and you have to click confirm to make sure that everything is correct. So many people close the browser window without confirming the payment.
Next, if the payment was submitted but you don't see it on your next statement, you should check with the bank to make sure it went through. It the payment shows clearing your bank but not your account, then there was a problem. You'd need to request a print out of the payment detail from your bank and mail or fax a copy of the proof to Citi's payment research department. If the payment really was taken, we will credit your account right away.
