Citizens Aid Government Agency is not a honest deal.

Toward the end of January 2011, I sent in an application to Citizen's Aid Government Agency under the premise that I would get bill pay assistance. They did "pay" some of the bills that I listed on my application, however soon after I paid my service charge, the bills were revoked, or returned for non sufficient funds. In March 2011, after trying to get in contact with Citizens Aid through the fake numbers and email addresses they provided, I was finally able to contact a representative through the online chat support off their website. The agent was apologetic about the revocation, and re-processed my bills to be paid. Again, the bills were revoked. A couple months later (we are now into May) I was able to get in contact with them again, inquiring about my paid service charge and a cashiers check that was supposed to be sent out to me. After much phone tag, and a final message to them from me stating that i was going to call the State Attorney's office and report them for fraud and theft, I received what looks like a fake check in the mail. If anyone from Citizen's Aid is monitoring this forum and can verify that they are a real and legit company, then it would be in their best interest to do so. Otherwise, it appears this company is excessively fraudulent. The one thing that I cannot figure out is why they would leave so many loose ends, like evidence of fake checks, reporting on these forums, payment accounts with google checkout, phone conversations and bill statements sent out to grantees of this fake government grant program. With so many people such as myself, going through tough financial times, scams like this are devastating to people.

It is sad to know that customers who chooses to use our service feels this way. We are very much aware of Ms. Weaver's case as previously posted. We are having issues with the state of Alabama as we 'used to' take applications over the phone. Because of the many delinquent accounts from the state of Alabama, our Agency has decided to stop receiving Applications over the phone. Wherein, an Applicant is REQUIRED to Agree to our Terms of Use located on our website www.CitizensAid.org. If we pay your bills for you, and you choose to go against our Terms of Use (as in Ms. Weaver's case) by paying your Service Charge and then taking it back - we will not provide you with our Services.
We have endured many slanderings from delinquent individuals from the State of Alabama (such as Ms. Weaver) who is determined to have their bills paid by our Agency and not pay the Service Charge which is clearly stated in our Terms of Use, that each and every Applicant has agreed to.
Our Service offered is not free as there IS a Service Charge incurred AFTER your bills are paid. If you pay your Service Charge and take back the money, then your Service Charge IS NOT PAID.
Please refrain from slandering our Agency, and review our Terms of Use. If you have abided by our Terms of Use and have not received our Services, then it is required to contact us immediately. If such is the case, then we will make corrections to our Automated System. Our Service is not for free, there is a Service Charge which is stated CLEARLY before you use our Services.
