If you happen to owe a couple of tickets wether you knew about it or not and try to fight it in court is impossible to win. These people in Yonkers are determined to take your money. The ticketers that drive the white cars, there's got to be a catch because they would write you a ticket even if you are in the car, as if they make money out of it. Now if you are parked at a meter make sure you have quarters in there because they are in service until 9:oo PM. I own a commercial vehicle and I cant even park on the meters because they dont respect the rule that any commercial vehicle may park on the streets no more than 3 hours, I will get the ticket within 5 minutes and there is no way to prove it, it is a lost case. Visitors good luck in your stay!!

Yonkers PVB Is Only Trying to Raise Some Money.

Yonkers Parking Violations Bureau is only looking to raise some extra money for the City. They've been investigated by the old Inspector General and when the investigation was close to getting some PVB officials in hot water, he was "let go".
This is a great video that shows how Yonkers sets up broken meters that let them ticket motorists ($55 tickets) that think they have time on their meter:

My advice is either go with the flow and deal with it, or don't come to Yonkers. Yonkers operates with their own set of rules. The City on the hills!
