I got a loan with E-trade few years back. It is being serviced by CLC. I have been paying each month by mail or by phone. When I became ill with breast cancer, out of work, no SDI, nothing, they would not work with me at all.

They are rude, argumentative, and have the lack of knowledge with loans, servicing, payments, anything. All they do is read their script. I have asked for statements and payment history for over a year now and still have not received anything from them.

All I ever receive from them is a late notice when I have been late due to no job, etc. I make a payment though every single month when I can, I have only been over 30 days late a couple of times and they are still rude to me and won't work with me.

I received 2 notices in mail re: lowering my monthly payment by only $30 and there was no signature on the letter, had the wrong loan number so I called them. They did not know anything about the letters. So I asked for supervisor, she could not help me.

I am so frustrated but continue to make my payments so as not to ruin my so-called credit, but I want to know my payment history. Don't they have to send statements or something by law? 

Please someone help me out here. I am desperate. I feel I am really being ripped off and don't know if my balance is even going down as it should be. Someone really needs to check out this company and also check out E-trade as they will not help me either.
