I signed a contract in June of 2007 for Clear Choice (Chris Prince) to replace nearly 20 windows and 4 doors. In July 2007 an appointment was set to do the windows portion of the contract, the contractor came and replaced the contracted windows and set up a date for the doors for the August 2007 timeframe.

In August 2007 I took off work to meet Clear Choice Door contractor, said contractor arrived 2 hours late and, removed 1 storm door and 1 interior door. The contractor hung the interior door and left the site claiming, "I don't have the proper parts. I called Chris Prince and set-up a new date for completion.

Since August of 2007 me or my wife have taken off at least 12 times to meet with door crews that chris told us were scheduled, the crews only came twice and, only suceeded in damaging my house while never completing the work.

In mid December 2007, after one of my interior windows cracked, I scheduled with them one last time to repair the window and install the doors and, once again no one showed. I called Chris that day and, as you can imagine, I was very angry but, of course chris never called me back. Later that day I called Clear Choice Corporate in Atlanta.

On the day following my call to Corporate a man called me back, to tell me they would turn my account over to the Lancaster office, for completion and someone from that office would be in touch. He also said that Clear Choice takes customer service seriously and would refund the cost of my doors. I told him I just want my house fixed and my doors hung and if he can make that happen and rebate some of my money, that would be fine.

A few days later the Lancaster office called to set up a visit (another day I took off work), to find out what had to be finished. sometime in mid January a person from Lancaster came out, took measurements of the broken window and scoped-out the door situation. I was told that they would order a new window and set a date for hanging the doors when it (the window) was in.

After numerous phone calls and several months I was informed that, the window was in and they would like to schedule an appointment for service (another day off work) we did so the crew came out (late), with the new window, and started the framing work for the new doors. They never got around to hanging the new window and, After about 5 hours work they said they would need at least one more day to complete the job.

After numerous phone calls and a few more months, the next visit was scheduled, the crew came out and said they could not hang the doors because, they were hinged wrong they left my house and, I was very angry because at this point it had been over 1 year's wait. I called back to Corporate and spoke to a Mr. Sanangelo (sp).

I told Mr. Sanangelou what had occurred and that nobody was being held responcible for honoring the contract. He told me he would help and when i said I hope that's true, he said "the proof is in the pudding" we spoke about giving The Lancaster office one more try, and that they would come on a weekend so, I would not loose another day of work, I set up this last chance and once again no one showed. When I called to find out why I was told, the contractor that was scheduled quit.

After this last attempt Mr. Sanangelou and I e-mailed each other proposal's for settlement. I proposed that Clear Choice pay an outside contractor to finish the work and repair the damage to my house. we had reached agreement on this settlement when out of nowhere, Mr. Sanangelou called me to ask if a contractor that the Lancaster office just hired could come out that same weekend to complete the work and I, because all I wanted was to have this over with agreed to it. That weekend the contractor almost finished all of the outstanding work however, when he went to hang the replacement for the broken window he found not only did it not fit, he also found that the window frame was mounted wrong. He measured for the new replacement window and made notes on what was needed to complete the rest of the work. That was in July.

It is now early October, 2008 and the job is not finished, I have called several times in regard to the job being finished and gotten nowhere. Mr. Sanangelou has been e-mailing with my wife settlement items as, i am too angry to deal with them anymore. It has been more than 18 months please, people do not!!! buy anything from Clear Choice.

I called
