Lied about 25 visa rebat

 Submitted the required docments and they never sent the card out ....said the rebat can't be combined with another offer are discount but my wife never recieved any other offers the are a reap off...

 I will be cancaling my services and I will advice everyone to stay far away from clear internet service ..they have poor customers service .

 They kept me on hold for 40min and still never told me why the rebate wasn't approved

 But you do realize that you signed a contract and because of that you will be hit with the ETF. Thats Early Termination Fee. As this is a internet provider I would expect roughly $200-$400 bucks for the ETF. If they say that you cant get the 25$ Visa Gift Card, then you cant. So you decide whats worse. No internet and $200-$400 bucks for ETF. Or accept the fact that you wont be getting a gift card for whatever reason. You may have gotten a discount on the instalation or equiptment. Or even a discount on the service itself.

But hey its your wallet. You make the choice. Im pretty sure that you were left on hold for over 40 mins because you were not the nicest person to talk with. Normally thats the ONLY reason they leave ppl on hold. To give them time to calm down. Try asking for an explanation of WHY the card wasnt sent out. WHAT discount or offer did you recieve that exempts you from getting the gift card. Also try working with the person on the other end of the phone. If you call up acting demanding and self entitled then you will not get very far and will have even more time on hold. Remember they are people too, they have a rough job dealing with customers making demands that they cannot comply with. Dont take your anger out on the person your going to with your hat in your hand begging for assistance when your angry at the situation.
