Jamie Cogburn made promises he never kept, and now does not care in the least.  He will not answer straightforward questions, nor will he take responsibility for his legal advice or actions.  Taking years to complete a "short" sale is just plain negligent.  He offered to refund the thousands I paid him, then reneged with no explanation at all except to say he just was not entertaining the idea.  Shortly after, he fired 1/3 to 1/2 of his staff days before their company Christmas party.  This seems to be telling, but how in the world he is still in business is beyond my comprehension.  He is the worst referral I have ever received.

I am one of the owner's of the law firm and if this complaint is an actual client I will gladly refund every dime our firm received.  I can't tell who submitted the complaint as it was anonymous, but if my office did something wrong I will gladly do whatever it takes to make it right.  We have helped thousands of clients and this is the first time someone has ever claimed we ripped them off on this website.  We have a policy in place that is simple - if we can't complete a modification we will gladly refund the client's money.  

Our only goal is to help people and it saddens me that we have an unhappy client.  As stated above, if the client wants to identify themself then I will gladly address their concerns and if we did not do what we promised I will refund their money.  Alternatelively the client can contact me privately and I will gladly address in a private manner.
