Cogins maltese, cogins Pomeranians, simons poodles and yorkies This is a serious puppy mill operation here. They advertise poms, yorkies, poodles, maltese . I wished i did research before buying a pet from here. My puppy was sick with bloody diarrhea and worms. The place stunk and several breeds were in a big dirty pen outside. I was,afraid to cancel because i already sent money. I felt sorry for that puppy being in that place. Its a major regret because it cost me a lot to heal this poor dog. They advertise as being from ohio and Indiana. Beware. ... your description ... Fremont Ohio indiana

Wow...First time ever I have been called a "puppy mill". I've thought long and hard about your statements. I don't even know how to respond I've read two reports within days of each other that state basically the exact same thing "The stench was awful". Almost as if the two reports came from the same person. It's just so ironic that after 15 years of raising Maltese, I somehow have two of the exact same reports using much of the same language. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it but to give my side of things. First let me say, I'm sorry you so unhappy. I do not know who you are or what puppy you got as I've not gotten a phone call from you asking about any incurred vet bills, I would have gladly paid them. I have always been fair with my anyone who gets one of my Maltese. We raise dogs here, and sometimes things go wrong, even after every effort is made to ensure health. That is why I carry a full two year health guarantee. And I have always honored it when necessary. I am not aware of anytime that you contacted me and asked for a refund or asssitance with unwanted health bills. You state there were several breeds in a pen, I raise solely Maltese. And my mother in law raises her poodles and has since 1988. Years ago I tried my hand at Pomeranians and could not find the passion for them. But having more than one breed on this premises does not warrant a Puppy mill. WE love raising dogs. Always will. And you can raise dogs and do it right. But that does not mean we will never have a dog without a parasite. I'm so sorry if your puppy did and I would have spoken with you and dealt with it immediately. But I was never given that opportunity. Funny thing is, I had clients here today to pick up their puppy and read this reveiw to them. They took a look around and shook their heads. Asked me what "stench"? And if this person thinks you are a puppy mill then he needs to visit the place we just were at. I'm truly saddened by some of your statements. But at the end of the day, and more importantly you are unhappy and that makes me even more sad. I strive for all my clients to walk away happy. Please forward me any incurred vet bills and statements of the genetic problems with your puppy. I will gladly work with you to make all this fair. You should not have to take on unnecessary bills. I would have gladly taken the puppy back and refunded your money or replaced the puppy at your wishes. I would have done everything I could to make you comfortable with the purchase of your new forever friend. Again, I'm sorry if you had any issues and I would like to make it right. Please contact me.
