Colina Homes Broke written and signed purchase contract. Houston, Katy TX

What an awful home builder!!!  I wouldn't recommend Colina Homes to anyone!!!   On 12/10/2020 we signed our original contract with Colina Homes.  We waited until  03/09/2021 when construction started. No real reason given. Just many excuses from sales rep over and over again. 

House was framed wrong, missing walls and doorways, missing plumbing.  The house has 2 false windows.  One of the windows was missing from the delivery of all of the windows of the house.  

Sales Rep called us 7 to 10 days later and told us Colina won't be fitting the window in the house and would just brick over where the missing windows were supposed to be.  When we objected that it would affect the look of the house, his response was "if you don't like it, we will cancel your contract and then sell the house to someone else for more money. 

He said the construction wouldn't be delayed for one window. Soon after the Sales Rep called and said 4 windows had been stolen from the house, so with 16 week delivery for windows construction would be delayed with closing likely in December. 

On 5/27/2021 the Sales Rep called and said with delays and extra costs we either had to pay $20,000 extra or Colina would cancel the contract.  We refused, spoke with sales director and owner, but got nowhere. with either of these people.  So on 5/28/2021 Colina cancelled the original contract we had with them.  

On 5/29/2021 Colina have put the house on the market for almost $43,000 more that our contract price
