It really is easy, Colorado Prime uses a point system on the menu. All you have to do is take the last three numberes of the item number and multiply by .370. For example if the menu number is 304100, you would take the number one hundred and multiply it by .370. this will give you the exact price for that item. This does NOT work on the grocierie items though. Trust me when I tell you, they are also over priced also.

An example of their funny math.

My wife and I fell into the Colorado Prime trap. We resolved that we would not pay the overpriced financing anymore. When I paid off the remainder of the bill, we got another call from CP. They always call as soon as the bill is paid in full. Just to experiment one last time, my wife requested the price on 40 pounds of Hormel bacon. The quoted price after our 60% discount was $298. That is $7.45 a pound for bacon. The same bacon is usually on sale for $2.50 a pound at the local chain grocer.

You cannot tell anyone that CP is the lexus vs. the Yugo. For that price I would rather walk.

Just a note to help people make an informed decision.

I work for a restaurant that serves "prime" grade beef, not the "top choice" beef that is usually the best available at the supermarket.

The restaurant pays from $8 to $15 a pound for their steaks. This is a "mid-priced" restaurant.
And again this is the cost to the restaurant for the meat only, not including the cost of preparation, etc.
