Before you stay be aware if you do not stay the entire time that you have a reservation for they will bill you for any days that you do not stay. This is NOT the policy of Choice Hotels but the manager there insists on the billing of any days that you book. I have a customer complaint with Choice Hotels (website & customer service) Manager is David Vincent and appears as though they need the money so badly that they will rip off customers.

Not when Packers were playing

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 25, 2007

As our technicians frequently travel to Green Bay I am very familiar with the pricing of hotels and availability when there is a home game. Our technicians arrived on a Monday night when the Packers were not playing at home the night before and were scheduled to leave on the next Saturday night. The rates for those nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) were in the 80 dollar range (Plus taxes). Our technicians left on Thursday, not using Friday or Saturday nights. As these were not the prime nights when the Packers played and for that matter it gave them time to book for fans who may have tried to get late reservations, it was not an 'hardship' on the hotel in any way.

Packer Game?

AUTHOR: Ryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 25, 2007

Let me take a wild guess and say that your stay at this hotel was during a Packer home game weekend, right? In this situation, when every hotel in a 50 mile radius is booked solid, and they are turning down requests for rooms by the dozens so they can save YOUR room....don't you think you should pay for the room if you decide NOT to stay?

Comfort Suites 2841 Ramada Way Green Bay WI

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 13, 2007

This was not a non-refundable reservation. This is what the Comfort Inn at 2841 Ramada Way does in Green Bay. I booked the reservation through Choice Hotels as we use them all the time for our technicians. Not one other time has a member of Choice Hotels ever billed for days when you give them notice and you do not stay. As I indicated above, I have checked with Choice Hotels and that is not the policy.

Well color me surprised!!

That is typically what happens when you book a nonrefundable reservation. You don't stay? Too bad. You still pay. Oh yeah, and you know about this up front so you can decide whether to stay and get your money's worth.

No rip off here!
