 i had a check go through in the middle of the night that would short me by about $3.00, so as I have done before, I put more than enough to cover it. It showed a transaction came out that same day that had came out over a week ago. I deposited $150.00 into my account which never came up, but an overdraft charge did for $36.00.. Says no transactions posted after 2pm but they debit after 2 but do not credit. So in the course of 12 hours I have had 3 separate deposits to ensure no overdraft and got one 24 hours later. This bank is sketchy!

Your Account Management Is "Sketchy"!

Here's what you are here to admit to the world...its YOUR account and its YOUR money in this account...yet...YOU don't even bother to keep written, accurate records of YOUR OWN account!  YOU have NO CLUE as to how much money you have in YOUR OWN account because you don't have a check register and you don't keep an on-going running balance!  You consistently run the balance into the near overdraft point and at the last minute make some deposit rather than keeping records and knowing how much money you have there BEFORE you use the account!  In typical fashion, when YOU GIVE YOURSELF an overdraft fee, the wailing begins as to how much this is the bank's fault!

If you want to avoid overdraft fees...simple solution which has worked for decades and decades...you write down each and every use of the card or the writing of the check, write down every deposit WHEN IT CLEARS, then maintain an on-going running balance with each item.  You will avoid any overdraft fee and have the most accurrate balance information in the universe.  The website figure ARE NOT ACCURRATE.  Call the bank and ask them!

 

NO RIP-OFF HERE.  Complainer fails to manage checking account yet blames bank for self caused overdrafts.
