Doba.com and Commerce Rocket are rip-offs. I received a call from a sells rep who claimed his name was Colton Hale. He stated that he was with Commerce Rocket. He sold me on a dream of how his company could help me place my business online.

He explained to me the different programs and costs. He explained that I would get 30 days free and would have time to review my site before continuing. He also explained that he was with the marketing and design group (Commerce Rocket) and they partnered with another group that has the products and drop ships the products (Doba.com).

The first thing that happened was, they attempted to charge my account even before the 30 days was up. They sent me some instructions for me to go to webinars and learn to build and fill my own site. The reason I agreed to try them in the first place was because I told them I had no web designing experience nor time to learn and they told me they did all the work. I would only have to advertise.

Colton called me from a number that showed to be a local number (205-588-2533) in Alabama. I asked him about that when he gave me a number to reach him back at as I decided to allow them to setup my site. The number he gave me was 801-396-1038. I tried calling that number and no one there knew a Colton Hale. They gave me the number to Doba.com (877-321-3622). I called that number and no one there knew a Colton either. I did find out that they had created two accounts for me and was attempting to charge me on both accounts (well before the 30 days).

They (Commerce Rocket) also informed me that all they do is sell you training and the tools. I had to learn and build my own site. They also informed me that Dobe.com was responsible for providing the products. I compared a couple of products they had, and found that Doba.com was charging double what I was paying. They were getting it from the same supplier because the same product ID number they used was the same number I used when ordering the same item.

They are very deceiving. I was told if I was not satisfied with what they had done, they would refund my money. That never happened. Instead, they tried to pressure sell me on a three year packet at a deep discount. I almost fell for it. I just didn't have the money. After seeing this site, I am so glad I didn't have it to give to them. They prey on you because they know you really need what they promise to deliver. I never got what was promised and I called both companies on numerous occasions. Each company was constantly put the blame on the other company.  My advice would be to stay clear of these guys.

Hi Keonta-

I'm extremley sorry that you felt like we were a scam. Most if not all your complaints are with Behalf.com. 95% of the people we work with have no problem or issues with Behalf and are thankful that they could get financing to start their business. You are the only client of mine that has ever had an issue with them. Most of the time people do have 3 options to pay either weekly, monthly or a ballon payment at th end of the 3 or 4 month period. This is all circumstantial depending on who it is that behalf is lending the money to. It's my fault that I didnt tell you that sometimes they do require a weekly payment from certian people that dont have as good of credit. Our company is NOT a scam and we personally have a A+ rating with the BBB and our main company is Marketecture. Commerce rocket is just a page we use to drive traffic to us for people wanting an internet business. Keonta we did have a great conversation and I'm sorry you thought we were a scam just because behalf ended up having you pay weekly and not monthly. Our product and what we do does work and I am in contact with people that have my personal cell that report back to me monthly on how they are doing and they love what they are being provided with and the help they recieve and I wish we could have got you in the door to show you we are legitimate but that ship has sailed. I just hope you see that it was my mistake in not telling you that in rare cases that they do require you to pay weekly and not monthly and that it had nothing to do with our actualy company. Ive been in this idustry for 10 years and I've worked for 4-5 companies in that time frame and this is where I hung my hat because we actually do help a lot of people to get them an online business from home that WILL work as long as they put their effort into it. My sincere apologies Keonta Beasley and I wish you the best in life as well and I'm sorry we couldnt make it work and for my mistake.

Almost Got Scammed By Rocket Ecommerce/Marketecture(with one T)

AUTHOR: Almost Got Scammed - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, January 28, 2015

So these people as well called me from a local number. Of course I was going to pick up. They gave me the same BS about how they would get my business off the ground by offering me help letting them set it all up for me. I was also told that my first payment wouldnt be do until 30 days out. As soon as I gave them my banking info the billing statment from them was not thirty days out, It was next week. That was major red flag #1 not being straight up honest with how the pay works. I also want to say they somehow got my info from Top Ten wholesale, and Top Ten Wholesale should be digusted with A) either selling signed up user information or B) allowing someone to gain access to user info.

Scammers I dealt with:Brent Lee blee@commercerocket.com( the guy who called from a local phone) and Seth Thomas Powell https://twitter.com/ninjapower1309(the "Manager")

Rocket Commerce/Marketecture(with one T) wanted my banking info through Behalf.com https://beta.behalf.com/ A site that still to this day remains in beta mode. Behalf has no contact number has no way of deleting your personel info. The site was also down The day after I signed up. All these red flags led me to beleive this was a scam.

I then Constanly called Rocket Commerence to cancel my account and they told me I would have to do it through behalf. I sent numerous emails to behalf and no one never got back in contact with me. I then called rockect Commerece/Marketecture back several times a day and threaten to put a stop payment on my bank account.

The level one representitive told me that I wouldnt do that because you will still be liable for the fee's and that they win these cases 95% of the time.

I told him, if he would like to continue to meet that 95% quota he had better get my account cancelled because I was instructed by my bank to record this phone call and that he was being recorded now. They quickly sent me a fake account closed email.

I Still had to apply for a new checking and routing # with my bank fraud department and had to sign up with the three credit bureaus to monitor my credit because no one was still able to delete all of personal info from behalf.com I then Reported behalf.com to the BBB and They have yet to respond.

I wouldnt be suprised if Rocket Commerce/Marketecture secretly built the behalf website to further their scam.

If you still don think this is a scam people read the emails between us.

Hey Brent Lee,

Yes the conversation we had was great and at the time I felt that it would be a fruitful business opportunity for the both of us. It was the little things that added overtime that made me feel this wasn't going to work in the long run.

1) after signing up with behalf i was told that my first payment would be do 30 days from the sign up date(01-13-15). Which then turn into it not being 30 days (01-24-15 first payment due is not 30 days from 01-13-15) Red Flag #1

2) I was then instructed to send an email to behalf and tag seth powell email into it to get the official 30 day payment correct.(I don't want/need that extra hassle of trying to get the dates right, especially after I was just told the payment would be do in thirty days) Red Flag #2

3) The behalf website has been down for the past two days but was working perfectly when you all called me to sign up. Its currently still down 12:15 pm EST 01-16-15. Red Flag #3

4) The website when it was working, has no contact# and i was told by seth powell that most business like behalf dont have a contact #
Well that cant be true. Shopify(which is very similar to behalf) for example has 24/7 email, chat and phone contact. Red Flag #4

As a new customer these little things added up very quickly and I realized I cant continue to do business with behalf and all the other connected companies with them.

Brent you're an excellent communicator and you knew exactly what I was looking for, but it wasn't going to work for me. It nothing personal, just business and I wish you the best in all of life.

Having to get a new bank account set me back a few weeks in terms of updating all of the other i do business with and my job, because I was receiving direct deposit and I could recieve any check for two weeks until they were able to update and verify my new banking info.

Moral of the story if someone calls you in regards to another site you sign up with and they cant prove they work there its a scam. Disreard people who say they work with a company this also a scam. Hopefully I saved someone from future turmoil.
