Conair Corp. Customer Service - Glendale, AZ Hairdryer stopped working in less than 3 weeks! East Windsor, New Jersey
*Author of original report: Got it working again
Purchased a Conair 1875 watt (Model #146PDG) hair dryer less than a month ago because I particularly liked the feature that allows me to clean the air intake screen (which I would think would prevent overheating due to lack of adequate airflow.)
Never even got an opportunity to clean the screen as the hairdryer simply stopped working after less than one month and no more than 20 uses.
I have contacted Conair, but have not received a reply as yet, but just want to warn others that this hairdryer is a real dud.

Got it working again

Searched the internet for an instruction guide. Finally found one for a similar hair dryer and did get it working again. You must plug it in, push a 'test' button---which will stop it from operating (even tho' it never was turned on), then unplug it and push the reset button, plug it in again---and it does then operate. In other words, if this hairdryer stops operating, merely pushing the reset button does nothing. It must be unplugged, then 'reset' and plugged in again. Conair never has responded.
