Conair Corp. very poor customer service/ mislabel box Stamford, Connecticut

It's now official.Conair has the worst costumer service I have ever encountered.

My husband purchased a WW scale (model WW 78) at Target this evening...even thought the box clearly states on both the front and the back "long life batteries included," there were no batteries in the box.I called Conair customer support telephone number around 5 pm this evening and talked to, "Bernie".His not so helpful response? Yeah, we don't do that anymore.No apology for the incontinence, no offer to send the missing 4 AAA batteries, just told me to return it to the store.

If I can't depend on the company to help with when there is a problem with THEIR product, then there is no point in buying the product.

I truly don't understand why a company should be allowed to print in their box," batteries included," and then not include them!
