WE-HATE-CONN'S (CON ARTIST)-WATCH THEIR PAPERWORK !

MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE RIPPED OFF , AFTER PURCHASING 4 NEW TV'S.
ALL COSTING APPROX RCA 46" $1250. PLUS TAXES
SONY 36" 900. "
(FLOOR MODEL) RCA 32" 375. "
RCA 13" 350. "

TTL $2875. PLUS TAXES

$2000.00 DOWN AND STILL OWED @ $4000.PLUS
THIS IS THE STORY

A FEW YEARS AGO, I WAS GOING TO BUY SOME TV'S OUTRIGHT BUT THIS LIZARD-FACE SALES SNAKE INTERRUPTED THE PLANS OF A PARTIAL LAY-A-WAY AND SUGGESTED IT WOULD BE A GOOD OPPORTUNITY FOR MY DAUGHTER TO BUILD HER CREDIT. SO I HELPED HER WITH $2,000. CASH DOWN . THE CREDIT WAS PLACED IN HER NAME.

WHEN THE SALES POISON SNAKE RETURNED WITH THE PAPERWORK. MY DAUGHTER SIGNED EVERY THING ( SHE'S OVER 18) ( INCLUDING A HIDDEN LIFE INSURANCE POLICY THAT THE SALESMAN SANDWICHED BETWEEN THE PAPERS ALONG WITH OTHER STUFF AND BROUGHT IT BACK FROM THE APPROVAL DEPT. IN A SEALED ENVELOP.

WE ASSUMED THAT DEAL WAS BASED ON REASONABLE TRANSACTIONS AND DID NOT SUSPECT ANY HANKY PANKY. AND DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT NOR DISCUSS THE BALANCE AT THAT PARICULAR TIME. FILED THE DARN SEALED PAPERWORK UP FOR SAFEKEEPING.

THEN A FEW MONTHS LATER, I JUST SO HAPPEN TO REVIEW THE PAPERWORK AFTER WE WERE LATE WITH PAYMENTS AND STARTED GETTING HARRASSED FOR THE PAYMENT THAT IS WHEN I DISCOVERED THE RIPOFF. THEY ALSO STATED THAT THEY CAN REPOSSESS THE TV'S JUST LIKE A CAR ??!!

IT WAS STATED THAT THE APPROXIMATE INTEREST BALANCE CAME TO OVER $4000. WHEN THEY PUT HER ON A PAYMENT PLAN OF $ 127. PER MONTH I BELIEVE FOR ABOUT 3 TO 5 YEARS. AT THE TIME THE BALANCE WAS NOT A CONCERN- WE JUST ASSUMED IT WOULD FALL IN PLACE.

AM I DUMB OR NOT ? NO WE ARE NOT THAT DUMB- JUST ASSUMPTIONING, AND TRUSTFUL AND WE DID NOT BOTHER TO READ ALL OF THOSE SHEETS OF PAPERWORK.

WE HATE CONN'S AND WILL NOT EVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THEM AND AM AFRAID OF THEIR CONTRACTS OR PAPERWORK. THEY LOST A DARN GOOD CUSTOMER. I TELL EVERYONE I RUN INTO ABOUT CONN'S PRACTICES - THEY ARE GETTING FREE ADVERTISEMENT ABOUT THEIR TRANSACTION PRACTICES. THEIR SALES TEAM ARE DECEITFUL DEMONS.

I WANT HER OUT OF THIS **** ****- IT'S LIKE A REAL BAD MARRIAGE - BY THE WAY CONN'S HELPED MESS UP HER CREDIT AND THAT IS WHAT'S LEFT TO PAY BECAUSE THE TV'S ARE PAID FOR WE ARE PAYING FOR THEIR INTEREST NOT OURS.

a couple of big errors you made while getting your daughter started with her credit. you asked the question "am I dumb"? I would say your worse than that, your stupid and you can't fix stupid. with that being said, lets start with your first mistake. nevr sign a contract without reviewing the obvious details. the company you were dealing with gives full disclosure on the front of the contract and requires you to sign for any insurance that is added to the purchase and a truth and lending disclosure of which you must sign as well. while your daughter was signing, you the dummy, should have been going over the details of what she was signing. you obviously did not do that. again, can, fix stupid. the second part that you obviously did not make understood to your dummy daughter, was the payment is due on the date on the contract, not when you feel like it. no where on the contract, that your dummy daughter signed, does it say' make the payment when you feel like it' or when you get the money. i have purchased product from this company since 1982 and i am very familiar with the process. in fact their contracts are very like the ones at star furniture and gallery furniture. your quote of the payment being 3 to 5 years tells me you didn't even know the term of the contract even after you started to write your ripoff statement. yes you are that dumb, and yes you have a collaterral note of which all merchandise can be voluntary or involuntary repossesed..dah. and i'm sure your not shopping there any longer because people like you are not darn good customers. you are the rip off artist with a vail over your head to hide you stupid face and your deceitful ways. most people like you need to pay cash because you have no intentions of paying on time or not paying at all. you ruin it for those that trully want a first or second chance at establishing a good credit line, and that's what conns does for so many. so take a hike to best buy and see what they can do for you. they don't deal with stupid dummies either. smartsville, texas
