Consumerinfo.com ripped me off too! I even cancelled my membership on-line and then they still charged me the 79.95! That caused my credit card account to go over the limit and then I was charged an over the limit fee of $29. Thanks a lot consumerinfo.com!!!!
I called consumerinfo.com at 1-877-513-4175 to get a voice recording. I eventually got a live person on the phone. She informed me that a year ago I failed to cancel my membership and so I was charged the $79.95 annual membership fee. I told her that I didn't sign up for anything an I would like my credit card account credited. She then said ok I will cancel your membership and your account should be credited within 48 hours.
I sure hope so because I didn't sign up for anything!
