While working for this company I was forced by Al Samantas Owner of Continental Products to use metal that was deemed to be 2nds's. As being very knowledgeable, I had former training of over 20 years in the trade and this was outrageous.

The metal coils and stock used for gutters, downspouts and awnings was only 1 mil. or 019 Aluminum. And was seconds meant that the material had electrolysis before the metal was installed.

Also while working for this company I oversaw on many occasions that the estimate from Washington state overcharged the customer by hundreds of dollars. Using this type of material for example on gutters the customer should have never been charged more that 2.10 a foot.

There are laws for this sort of ripoffs and should be followed up by the U.S. Attorney Generals office. This man from Chicago should have never got away with this for so long.

This rebuttel report is to set the record straight about my company using inferior metal. Since this company was established over 30 years ago, the metal used for guttering systems has always been .027 gauge aluminum with a baked-on enamel finish. If anyone cares to verify this product, contact Custom-Bilt Metals in Phoenix, AZ. @ #800-737-9030. Custom-Bilt metals is a very respectable company that supplies business' across the U.S.. I have no idea why Jon thinks we've used a .019 gauge metal.

Also, as far as over-charging our clients, Jon was NEVER in sales for my company, therefore he can't comment on our installation fees. Our fees where in line with our competitions fees and most of the time lower.

I encourage all to verify my company's work and it's customer service. We offer referrals to anyone who calls and we prefer that our customers call our past clients to ask about Continental Products. Also anyone who is looking to hire a contractor, they should check with the Registrar of Contractors and the Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been made against a contractor. We encourage our clients to check on us, since we've never had a complaint filed against us nor our work. We are a licensed, bonded & insured business and I'm very proud of this company and it's employees.
