You HAVE corrected your error. You have plainly stated that the mistake is yours and that Convergence Homes was not involved. Anyone reading this could plainly see that this report has been invalidated by the original author.

Too bad you didn't know what you were writing when you filed this report. You made a mistake and now want to shift blame to Rip-off Report. It seems that no one in America wants to shoulder responsibility for their own actions anymore. People fly off the handle and make wild allegations then immediately begin looking for someone else to blame for their foul-ups when it is proven that the allegations were wrong.

Rip-off Report did not author this report; YOU did. Rip-off Report is only the vehicle that you used to display your incorrect "facts", if what you are claiming is true, maybe you posted that to get the company off your back, right?

Rip-off Report doesn't remove reports; it says so right in the disclaimer that everyone has to click to file the original report. In fact, almost everything on the Internet lives forever; there are caches of information held in Google's servers, site backups and elsewhere. Even if you had chosen another complaint site the information would be available just this side of forever. Anything posted anywhere on the internet can come back to haunt you later, so you need to keep that in mind. Type carefully because words can be harmful. Always remember that you are responsible for your own actions and you will not find yourself in this position.

Apologize to Convergence Homes, admit your mistake and the responsibility you hold for that mistake and move on. If Rip-off Report is less than a perfect system for consumer complaints, keep in mind that its because people file inaccurate reports like yours.

I have been a reader of Rip-off Report for a very long time. I find that most Reports filed on this website are legit. Like most other reports filed and in your situation, you were ripped off, just maybe you misstated as to who was really to blame. Either way, there is a lot to learn for consumers when doing business with this company in the future.

I've also read somewhere in an interview with the founder of this website that one of the main reasons why Rip-off Report does not allow anyone to delete a Report is so the author of the Report cannot use the Report as blackmail. The report instigates the business to do the right thing, so the victim can come back and show how the business took care of business.

If anything, I think you did a disservice to Convergence Homes becase of your comments. I would have been more inclined to do business with this company if you had posted something else. I have a strong feeling, that more than likely the company made you post what you did. That's my opinion.

Either way I think you owe an apology to ripoffreport. I commend ripoffreport for posting your comments and their policy to never delete a report.

You're the one who made the report, so you have to live with your consequences. It states the author nor anyone else can remove the thread. You should have done your homework before putting it on here.

This report was made in error as it was not the fault of Convergence Homes in anyway. We were taken advantage of by a party that misrepresented themselves as a member of the company. Yet this person has absolutely no relationship with Convergence Homes.

Knowing we made this drastic mistake we have made several good faith attempts to remove the posting to correct the error. When we tried to remove this posting and correct this mistake, we were informed that this site has a policy designed specifically to prevent our ability to control our posting and that they would NOT remove the posting.

It is amazing that a site that claims to be designed to protect the innocent, specifically robs the authors ability to manage their grievance by hiding the information in the small print. Even more amazing is that when we try to edit the information we are barred from making any changes to the original posting. It is as if the Rip Off Report was specifically designed to harm people.

We as the authors have made the necessary corrections to our mistake and as such ask anyone that reads this understands Convergence Homes was not at fault and that the Rip Off Report is NOT a credible resource.

Buyer beware that if you choose to use this site make sure that what you say is absolutely correct because if you make a mistake this site robs you of your right to make a correction.

They are willing to work this problem out and we are about to get into a solution of the problem.
