I had purchased several items from cooper sterling auctions through Jim Mirk. After paying for the items, Mr. Mirk never delivered on the goods or his promises. I would not recommend doing business with this company.  The transactions was in excess of $15,000.

It is because of people like Alqadir Zahir Dhalla that most people don't believe what they read on line!

AUTHOR: Cooper Sterling - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Mr. Alqadir Zahir Dhalla (this rip off report writer) purchased a Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel (Rolex Movement "P" series) for $7,000.00 Canadian (final bid price).

This is a watch that would not sell for less then $9,500.00 under no circumstances and is considered to be the hottest Rolex Watch in the market.

While this makes everyone at Cooper Sterling satisfied being able to provide such an opportunity for buyers, it is disappointing to get this from Alqadir instead of a simple thank you.

This man is clearly a dealer and his only motif is to get more money in his pocket.

Walking into the auction hall with a buddy calling him his lawyer, they looked at all high-end watches and asked if the Patek watches displayed come with box and paper. He then looked at the Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel and asked if its a Zenith movement or Rolex movement.

During the auction he successfully bid on the Rolex Daytona ($7,000.00 Canadian) and a Cartier Santos 100 dressed with Diamonds (also $7,000.00 Canadian).

When he was asked to pay for what he had purchased, he decided that he doesn't want the watches, particularly the Rolex Daytona since it did not come in a Rolex Box! however he was more interested to get some kind of discount and was using this box situation as an excuse!

The person biding against Alqadir Zahir Dhalla on the Daytona immediately agreed to take it for the same price ($7,000.00). Alqadir was informed of such however he had an immediate change of heart and decided to keep both watches and paid for his obligations; and took both watches with him on the same day.

The Cartier watch had come to our possession in a Cartier Box with a booklet & a DVD, same was later delivered to him and even though the Rolex watch did not come with a Rolex Box, Cooper Sterling agreed to send him a Rolex box as soon as one becomes available.

After receiving the Cartier Box he contacted Cooper Sterling complaining that the Box does not belong to the watch and he is unable to make enough profit worth his while selling it with this box and once again demanded some kind of discount and kept on mentioning his lawyer friend name Haseezamarshi or something like that as his witness.

It was explained to Alqadir Zahir Dhalla that all sales are final at auction and suppliers have been paid for their goods and there is no room for discount; he would not give up.

4 p.m. Saturday I received a call from a man introducing himself as the lawyer for Alqadir Zahir Dhalla inquiring about pretty much the same thing further discounts, everything was explained to the lawyer as well, then he asked for a refund in exchange for the products. I took his phone number (416-837-7608) and told him I will call him back.

On Monday I made a couple of phone calls and had both watches sold without even having to show them.

I contacted the lawyer and asked for the return of the 2 watches and the Cartier box for a refund, he wanted to know when the Rolex box would be delivered to his client!

Alqadir has been offered a refund twice, if this is such a bad deal for him and he is not satisfied with the service as he is describing here, why is he insisting on keeping the products? The only reason is his greed and his lawyer buddy is in on the deal.

Clearly this man is not satisfied with how much money he is making on the deal and is using ROR as a muscle to get his way.

Cooper Sterling is now seeking to hire a highly skilled legal council to possibly bring legal actions against Mr. Alqadir Zahir Dhalla and the mysterious lawyer friend who purposely provided a wrong last name and only a cell phone number that, he does not answer anymore.
