I have worked for this company for two years. I know that there are caregivers that have not been paid and probably won't get paid. The owner is a liar. She claims it's the payroll company but she should have some type of money to cover these caregivers. She expects them to work for weeks and months without pay. I was fired because I was about to expose the truth. She has a new girl working for her who has no clue that she is about to get ripped off too. Run far away from Vauna and Cornerstone. I hope those caregivers get paid.

We were told by the attrorney that the person who posted this complaint is not Sheryl. Therefore, we can only address the content of the complaint in general terms.
Each caregiver who is assigned to work with a client by Cornerstone Home Care Services is an Independent Contractor.
During the orientation process all caregivers sign a document acknowledging that they understand that they are not paid by Cornerstone Home Care Services but that they are paid by the Payroll company who bills the various insurance companies, recieves renittances, and pays the caregivers directly via Direct Deposit. Cornerstone Home Care Services is simply an agent between the Independent Contractors and the clients.
Should you or any other Independent Contractor have any questions about their payments please contact the payroll company.
