Corporate Controllers Unit Periodic Report - Directors/Shareholders Denver, Colorado

I received an official looking letter with a logo/seal that looked like it was from the government.  It indictated that I needed to pay $225 to their address to be in compliance with my state reporting for my LLC business.

I had to read the letter 2-3 times to finally see the area which indicates that this in not from the government and the I am not obligated to pay the $225 to keep my LLc in good standing.

Almost sent the money!!  The state should do something about this - very, very misleading!  I registered my company only a month before for $10 - not $225.  Had I not have re-registered so closely to the time that this letter arrived, I might have fallen for it!
