*Consumer Comment: Doesn't Make Sense
I am tired of having my phone blocked every month and not recieving calls from my loved one. My bill is paid. Evercom sets a limit on my account according to my credit report(720). I have never not paid a bill with them, but that doesn't count.
You can't talk to them . Outside relatives are held hostage by this monopoly. this is another way the system rips off the (usually) already over taxed public
One reason might be the incentives for the facilities and the state and county to recive kickbacks from the company that services each facility. The last time I checked kickbacks were against the law.

Doesn't Make Sense

Your post doesn't make sense. By their "blocking your phone" and limiting the number of calls from your "loved one", correctional billing service would be cutting their revenue. It was make more sense for them to allow inmates to run up much higher bills. You go on to state "My bill is paid", then right after that you say "I never paid a bill with them, but that doesn't count"??? I don't know what that means? Does it mean ALL your bills are paid or that they should raise your limit because you have a good credit score? Is that why you brought in your credit score? The number one complaint aganist them, on this site, is they're ripping people off by allowing inmates to run up extremly high bills. Your complaint is the exact opposite.
