I bought a washer and dryer for over $2,200, after a couple of years they stopped working properly, so I called and asked for a check to be mailed to me since my credit card I used was canceled. They said it will be mailed to you in a few days. After they picked them up no check came, I called a they said they can't refund it, it has to go through the bank!!
I asked for my stuff to be returned but got no reply either! I bet the washer and dryer are at an employees home now!!
Shame on a company that doesn't know how to deal with their customers!!

Question

I have never been to Cosco so I don't know their polices and I have a question.

Are you saying that they have an unlimited return policy with no time limit?

You said it's been a couple of years and you just called and asked for a check? What if it had been 5 years or 10 or 20?

You didn't take it back? You didn't say you did and you don't have to give them a receipt?

That sounds pretty awesome to me and I would stick with them, no one else comes close

Rest of the Story.

AUTHOR: Brad - (U.S.A.)

Back in 2007/8, Costco changed their return policy on electronics like T.V's, Camera's, Ipods, Computers and other electronics. The return policy remained the same for the rest of the products they sell online and in their warehouses.

They are clear that if you are not satisfied with a product, simply return it for a full refund, and this is the reason I have been buying everything from them for the past 6 years. However, in the past year or so, their customer service had deteriorated greatly. I'm not sure if it's the economy or something else that caused this to happen, and the quality of their products became rather shabby comparing to the previous years.

Now, I'm not in the business of scamming companies of something that I don't deserve or have a right in! But when I feel I've been mistreated or cheated, I do what I can to get things straighten out and get my money back. It surprises me that a company like Costco with it's size and volume of business would do such a thing, especially that I spend over $7,000 annually buying from them! I even agreed to get a costco cash card for the refund, but still they refused my request although they promised the refund will be mailed in a few days ( that was 4 months ago!!).

You said you had bought a washer/dryer a couple years ago and then the washer/dryer stop working.  You return the washer/dryer for a refund.  What company takes back items after 90 days?  Did you have a warranty on the washer/dryer?  What did it say?  Did you have anyone look at and/or repair the washer/dryer?

There is more to this story.  You need to tell the rest of the story...
