Booked this for a special occasion, 50th birthday present for my partner who had always wanted to stay here, we only had two nights. On his birthday the gas ran out and we had no hot water, no heating, could not use the oven or the stove kettle so we couldn't make a cup of tea. We were half way through cooking dinner which had to be thrown away. The owners treated us with utter disregard and left us like this and we were unable to shower, cook or make a cup of tea even. Having paid 500.00 for the privilege of being cold, hungry and having to have a stand up wash at the sink. The owners disregarded us and actually hung up on us on the phone.

This company is selling a luxury experience and charging top end price for an experience that doesn't match. We were promised one thing and delivered a standard that was far below what we had paid for.
