My father in law bought a car for my wife. He is a busy guy, as am I, and she needed a car to get around town with. The car was a gift to help us out with the baby coming in October and everything. CountryVue Motors told him that the car was great and everything worked in it and supplied him with a car fax report. So we went and got it.
On the way back it made a hard clunking sound. I took it to get looked at and the entire exhuast needed replaced. The mechanic said that the way it was mounted with a welded straight pipe instead of a flex pipe was illegal and dangerous. The exhaust and engine manifold could have came off and caused serious injury to me and my pregnant wife.
Additionally, the Air conditioning does not work, eventhough on the paper work said it did. Now my wife is seven months pregnant and riding around in a car with no air conditioning. The mechanic said there was a major leak and the whole system would need replaced which would be several hundred dollars. If you live in the Franklin Park Area and are looking for a used care I hope you get to read this before you end up with the same situation that we had.

Why, in the name of little green apples, didn't you have it checked BEFORE you bought it? Didn't you try the AC during the test drive? DID you test drive it.
