Delivered a load for this broker in February, lost one of the documents. Called broker for assistance, they refused. When I asked why, Peter Wallace/manager said to send him $250 cash and he will assist. Further investigation reveals their broker authority was INVOLUNTARILY REVOKED on February 23, 2016. As it was involuntarily revoked, don't believe any stories they are just changing their name. All revenues are being embezzled and no bills are being paid, probably going out of business forever. Peter is an unpleasant person that cannot be trusted. Have no information on owner Scott Middleton. Be careful!

They lost their authority. Haul at your own risk, SAFER page attached. The are not paying carriers!

Amerifreight Lost Bills

Amerifreight picked up a load in February and lost the bills. We think they won't pay the driver who hauled it for them, the driver is holding the bills hostage and now they are complaining about Countrywide. Maybe Amerifreight cheats the drivers and owner operators.

 

Countrywide pays in 21 days with a proof of delivery. On Wednesday March 30, 2016 we mailed out payments with a grand total of $179, 435 paid to carriers and factoring companies. Our Dun and Bradstreet credit rating is excellent and we have been arranging loads since 1985.

 

Watch out for Amerifreight especially Martin the dispatcher, he cannot be trusted. Be careful!
