Cox Homelife Cox Communications scamed us (Homelife security). new orleans la.

   My wife and I purchased the Cox Homelife Security system about 6 months ago. We paid over $1,300.00 for six camera's to be installed.  From day one the camera's wouldn't work properly along with the two door alarms. We had over eight technicians over to our home in their attempt to revolve our problems ,but was to no avail.

Excuses after excuses and a promise that when thier new App. comes out our troubles will be gone. Well, we waited months for that new App. and when we recieved it the technicians were still unable to get our system working. So we have six camera's  that don't record and pretty sounding door chimes when you open the doors.

The last technician who came out to our home told us that our system was unfixable and he didn't know what else to say to us. We called Cox numerous times and was just given the run around and was told we wouldn't be given a refund. The sad part is that we made a loan for this trash sytem and now must make another loan for a system that works. I wish we would have done our research before buying Cox Homelife. The internet is full of complaints about this system but Cox continues to scam poor people like us. Please don't make the same mistake that we did.
