Craft Tile Brandon Scott Davis He made me pay a huge deposit on a tile job up front with an additional 1/3 of the job and it was only 10 percent done then final payment before it was 50 percent done Sacramento Rocklin California

This is a Must See to believe what a scam artist this Brandon really is….

I found the guy on Craigslist which was my first mistake..

We met at this home I just got in Rocklin and Brandon was super nice when we met.

He came in at a reasonable price which was in the middle of all my other bids.

When we were laying things out he was over the top extremely easy to work with and offering all kinds of extras to get the job done.

We signed the contract and the job was 15k.

As soon as we made the deal things started to change immediately.

The 1k deposit per state law was out the window n he wanted 7k down payment n I thought that was weird for I purchased all the material n said what the hell he needs the money so I gave it to him..

He started the demo and started to tile 2 bathrooms out of 3 bathrooms and a kitchen n stairs and laundry room n before they were even half way tiled he demanded another third which was like 5k along with extra money for the things he offered to do for free.

I thought hmmm this is getting real weird for he was not even 20 percent done with the job but wanted his second 1/3 of his contract.

I felt a little trapped and knew at this time he always wanted to stay way ahead of the money so he always has leverage along with him having an attitude if I say anything as everything has to go his way n says he’s gonna do things and don’t even do them along with his helper coming to the job always smelling like booze but a really nice guy..

I paid him his second part like an idiot and a couple days later he fired his helper because he caught him drinking on the job n really started lacking on the job and having a major attitude….

Well here we are where he tiled the kitchen n laundry room along with 2 of the 3 bathrooms but no grout in the 2 bathrooms n the 3 rd bathroom not touched along with the stairs not touched and he asks for his final 1/3 of the contract where’s the contract states final payment gets paid on completion.

Mind you this guy threatened to walk off the job 3 times because I just questioned him about him jumping all around the place n talking to his worker 30 percent of each day as we were on a timeline .

I said there’s no way im paying you with all the work you have left and he got his stuff and walked off the job and left me hanging with 2 bathrooms that need to be grouted and one bathroom where nothing has been done and a staircase that needs tile and the job is like 50 percent completed..

This guy needs to pay for what he has done for he puts himself above others and has a total narcissistic personality with 10 personalities every day.

Fortunately he is licensed n bonded and we have a clear contract and it’s a no brainer to win all the way around along with getting his license suspended but all the time I have to waste on bringing this piece of work to justice is going to be an honor for I’m sure I’m not the first person he has done this to
